About the Author
Don Farber has photographed Buddhist life for over two decades in Asia and the West, and has been a special photographer for the Dalai Lama since 1989. His work has appeared in many publications, including Life and Time magazines, and has been exhibited around the world. Founded in New York in 1981 with the guidance of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, The Tibet Fund’s primary mission is the preservation of the distinct cultural, religious, and national identity of the Tibetan people.
