‘JagdishPrakash challenges the perception of beauty and ‘normalcy’. His poetry is lucid, rhythmically subtle, and amazingly honest. His poems are an ode to his thoughts, feelings, loneliness, hope, and heartbreak, which do not find expression in the mundaneness of life. They bring about the magic of metaphor, compactness of expression, use of the five senses, and simplicity or complexity of meaning in a few lines. These poems have sprouted from this reality and its impact on the poet’s subconscious mind… He has ventured to go beyond the events and incidents and tried to chisel their core in poetic terms.’ – Ruskin Bond
