Description

In a near-future world torn apart by frequent school shootings, society is divided between the Globalists, who want unity, global uniformity and peace, and the Segmentists, who fight for individual freedom and expression. Amidst this chaos, a group of academics studying an ancient Amazonian tribe is mysteriously killed, sparking a series of deaths among top linguists and scientists.

About the Author

Abhishek developed a love for reading and writing stories from an early age. Fascinated by physics, history, and mythology, he would often lose himself in stories―some historical, others speculative. At 15, he published his first science-fiction thriller, Father of the Gods, and continued the journey with Land of the Gods and Gods of the Gods, the next two instalments in the trilogy, at ages 18 and 22, respectively. The books received praise from notable figures such as Amish Tripathi, Vishal Bhardwaj, Harsha Bhogle, and Christopher C. Doyle.

While at UC Berkeley, Abhishek naturally transitioned into telling stories through data, publishing research papers on economics, energy, and machine learning. He is currently an Associate at Charles River Associates, an economic consulting firm based in Boston. When he’s not working or writing, Abhishek enjoys gymming, exploring new sports like mixed martial arts and skiing, travelling, and playing the flute.
