Description

What if the only way to heal… is to face your past.
Rishabh Mukherjee thought he had buried his past. A successful entrepreneur in the US, he left behind his small-town life—and the dark secret that changed everything. But when his young nephew is kidnapped, Rishabh is pulled back to the very town he swore he’d never see again.

Haunted by memories of relentless bullying and the final act of self-defence that nearly destroyed him, Rishabh must now confront the ghosts he’s outrun for twenty-six years. As he searches for the boy, long-buried truths come to light—and so do people who never forgot what happened.

Shadows of the Past is a powerful tale of guilt, redemption, and the courage it takes to face the truth. Sometimes, you have to go back to move forward.
